Transitional Housing

Every community is faced with the challenge of how to effectively provide for the homeless. We have created a sober-living program for those facing financial crisis. This program is designed to serve individuals in our local community first. Requirements must be met for individuals to be considered for housing, and once they’re here, they become part of a community.

Our intent is to teach an excellent work ethic, including learning financial responsibility. We offer spiritual growth classes and service opportunities.

The program is for men, women and children, and the length of stay depends on each person’s individual needs.

The Ark is not a shelter and does not have the qualifications or certifications to take those still in addiction or who are chronically homeless.

Most residents stay at The Ark in the transitional program between 3 -6 months.
